The NB ROTARY BALL SPLINE SPR type is a new mechanism that can perform linear and rotational motion at the same time. It is used for SCARA type robots, vertical shafts of assembly machines, loaders, etc.
Features
The NB ROTARY BALL SPLINE SPR type consists of splines section and a rotating section with cross rollers in the rotating section.
The number of parts can be reduced in half.
Since the spline and rotational parts are integrated into a single structure, the number of parts can be significantly reduced compared to conventional mechanisms and the accumulated errors in mounting can also be reduced.
Installation and processing costs can be significantly reduced
The use of cross rollers suppresses unnecessary thickness of the housing, reduces weight, simplifies machining and facilitates installation.
High precision
The structure is strong in the rotational direction, allowing accurate positioning in the rotational direction.
Compact and lightweight
The cross roller is placed directly on the ball spline outer cylinder, resulting in a lightweight and compact shape.
High rigidity
The structure maximizes the features of the cross rollers and four rows of ball splines, and despite its compact shape, it exhibits extremely high rigidity.
